Production Planner (x10) – DV Cleared – On-site (Aldermaston & Burghfield) – 18-month contract (Inside IR35)
We’re recruiting 10 Production Planners for a high-profile programme, working on-site only across Aldermaston and Burghfield (no remote working). Active DV Clearance is required.
Key details
Role: Production Planner (x10)
Location: Aldermaston & Burghfield – full time on-site attendance required
Contract: 18 months
Engagement: Inside IR35
Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience.
Systems: SAP plus strong understanding of ERP / MRP2

Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain Rough Cut Capacity Planning models.
- Develop and detail methods of manufacture in line with tasking, balancing time, cost and quality.
- Keep the local MRP system accurate and up to date.
- Plan and release customer requirements to Manufacturing/Operations within required timescales.
- Produce manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operational times where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control processes.
- Apply Lean Planning and Production Control tools (visual management, Kanban, push/pull).
- Bring proven experience from an operational, production, and/or supply chain environment.
