Production Planner – West Bromwich
£29,500 – £31,465
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
We're currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join an established manufacturing business based in West Bromwich.
This is a hands-on planning role, working closely with production, materials, supply chain and sales to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and on time.
The role will involve:
- Creating and managing production schedules
- Planning labour, machinery and materials
- Monitoring production progress and resolving issues
- Identifying bottlenecks, capacity constraints and material shortages
- Managing changing priorities and production requirements
- Working with ERP/MRP systems
- Producing planning reports and monitoring KPIs
- Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency

We're looking for someone with:
- Production Planning / Manufacturing Planning / Production Scheduling experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Good understanding of capacity and materials planning
- ERP/MRP experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
