Overview:
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Planner to support manufacturing operations within a complex engineering environment. The role will be responsible for capacity planning, production scheduling, MRP management, inventory control, and ensuring work is released to production in line with customer and operational requirements. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain environments, together with knowledge of Lean Planning techniques, Kanban, and Production Control processes, will be highly regarded.

Main Responsibilities:
- The creation and maintenance of Rough Cut Capacity Planning models.
- To detail plan methods of manufacture in response to tasking requirements with full regard to time, cost, and quality.
- Ensuring the local MRP system is updated and accurate.
- Ensuring that customer requirements are planned and released to Manufacturing and Operational activities within the timescales required.
- To provide manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operation times.
- Compliance with Inventory control processes.
- To demonstrate and use ‘Lean Planning’ techniques and ‘Production Control’ processes such as visual management, Kanban and Push/Pull in the operational/ manufacturing areas.
- Experience of working in operational environment, production, and/or supply chain functions.
