Production Process Apprentice
Location: NORTHUMBERLAND (NE24 5TG)

Summary
This role will focus on learning and supporting the systems and processes behind our manufacturing operation. You will develop knowledge of BC14, production and administration, while working alongside teams including Design, Purchasing, Logistics and Installation. You will also gain hands-on experience as a Production Operator.
Wage: £15,808 a year
Training course: Engineering and manufacturing support technician (level 3)
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute paid breaks.
- Friday 08:00 - 12:00, with 1 paid 15 minute break.
- 38 hours a week
Start date: Monday 26 October 2026

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Develop working knowledge of the BC14 ERP system and its role within the business, including an understanding of how information flows between departments.
- Spend time within the production department, developing practical manufacturing skills and gaining a thorough understanding of how our products are manufactured from start to finish.
- Assist with daily production activities to support workflow and operational targets.
- Learn how production jobs are created, processed and managed within BC14, providing administrative support to maintain accurate job information.
- Help maintain accurate production and system records.
- Work closely with production, office and site-based teams, including Design, Purchasing, Logistics and Installation, to support the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
- Develop an understanding of how materials and stock are managed within the production process, including the importance of accurate stock information within BC14
- Undertake training and continuous development to build knowledge across both operational and administrative functions.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment, adhering to company health and safety procedures.

- GCSE in: English (grade 4-9)
