Job Description
Ready to start your Disney journey? Apply for our 12-month Production Safety & Sustainability undergraduate placement scheme.
At The Walt Disney Studios and Entertainment, we bring stories to life for audiences around the world while taking meaningful action to protect people and the planet. From Disney and Marvel Studios to Lucasfilm, Searchlight Pictures and 20th Century, our teams champion safe, responsible and sustainable production across film and television.
We’re looking for a Production Safety & Sustainability Intern to join our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional Production Safety team at Pinewood Studios. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, supporting the systems, processes and projects that help keep our productions safe, efficient and environmentally responsible.
As an intern, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Safety and Sustainable Production programmes running smoothly by:
- Supporting digital safety records, trackers and documentation
- Coordinating meetings, training sessions and site visits
- Administering online safety inductions and training programmes
- Assisting with reporting, data tracking and programme progress
- Researching sustainable technologies, vendors and best practices
- Helping capture and share sustainability successes across productions
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and ways of working
You’ll work closely with the Production Safety Manager and Production Sustainability team, gaining insight into how large-scale film and TV productions operate behind the scenes.
The role will be based at Pinewood Studios, Iver, with occasional travel to our Hammersmith office or other sites, with notice provided in advance.
Values
You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
