About the Role
We are looking for a Production Scheduler to support the delivery of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by ensuring the efficient flow of materials and components through our internal supply chain.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Production teams, you will develop realistic short-term supply plans, manage production orders, monitor capacity, and resolve supply challenges to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining inventory targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-term supply plans aligned to the MPS and customer demand.
- Validate MRP outputs and manage exception messages.
- Launch, sequence, and manage production orders within the ERP system.
- Perform detailed capacity planning and identify potential constraints.
- Negotiate delivery dates and quantities with internal suppliers.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and implement recovery plans where required.
- Analyse supply chain performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure stock accuracy through effective order management and receipting processes.
- Support subcontracted processes and manage production order closure and archiving.
- Participate in daily control rooms, planning reviews, audits, and improvement projects.

Essential Requirements
- Experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Scheduling, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Good understanding of MRP2 principles.
- Experience using ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- APICS BSCM qualification.
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
- Knowledge of customs, transport, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with capacity planning and production control.
