Role Details
Role: Shift Manager
Salary: £51,912
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am
Contract: Permanent

Inspired Global Cuisine is a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Chadderton, Oldham, Manchester. We are an ambitious company that has grown significantly over the last two years, now producing over 1 million meals a week, with plans to continue growing - including a recent relocation to a brand new 369,000 sq ft site, where we're investing in new systems and expanding our operations this year.

Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to make a real impact - creating a safe, engaging workplace, championing continuous improvement, and working collaboratively across the site to help us keep raising the bar.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Managing Health & Safety, Quality, GMP, labour, materials and waste to agreed standards, including accident/near-miss reporting, holiday cover and investigations
- Ensuring SOPs and quality standards are current, available and understood
- Making sure safety and quality checks are completed as per procedure
- Setting clear KPIs, standards and objectives, and ensuring they're communicated, understood and owned by your team
- Supporting accurate, timely use of our M3 system
- Championing food safety, quality, legality and integrity across production, storage and packaging, with a root-cause mindset
What we’re looking for
- Extensive management experience, ideally within food manufacturing
- A strong, confident and motivational leader
- Quality- and customer-focused mindset
- A continuous improvement mentality - able to plan, implement and manage change
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient IT skills
- Autonomous, self-driven approach
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical knowledge
- Strong numerical skills to interpret and analyse data
