We are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Manager at our fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - Fixed shift / 17:30hrs to 02:15hrs
Rate of Pay: Competitive
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities and manage the team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards while enforcing quality control measures throughout the production process
- Deliver training to your team to ensure understanding of requirement and processes
- Collaborate with management to monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Encourage open communication, providing feedback and support to team members
- Conduct problem-solving initiatives to address any operational challenges efficiently
- Investigate and action breaches of discipline or company rules

Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations
- Effective leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to enhance production efficiency
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with team members and management
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to the required standards and to tight deadlines
