Production Shift Manager: Poole, Dorset

GBP48,000 - GBP48,500 + Bonus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 3-shift

About the Role

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of the highest quality. They are planning for 2026 and are looking for a Production Shift Manager to join their Senior Management Team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all production and managing the section leaders.
  • Developing and communicating long-term visibility of requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Overseeing, scheduling, and forecasting of planning activities, overseeing procurement, and ensuring that purchasing is cost-effective.
  • Interface between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing leadership and direction to all direct reports and ensuring objectives are met.
  • Supporting the introduction of new manufacturing processes and ensuring best practice is shared in the group.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Strong engineering or manufacturing background with multiple process lines.
  • Experience of people management including performance management, training, and development.
  • Green Belt 6 Sigma certification.
  • Process improvement knowledge.
