About the Role
Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of the highest quality. They are planning for 2026 and are looking for a Production Shift Manager to join their Senior Management Team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Overseeing all production and managing the section leaders.
- Developing and communicating long-term visibility of requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Overseeing, scheduling, and forecasting of planning activities, overseeing procurement, and ensuring that purchasing is cost-effective.
- Interface between internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing leadership and direction to all direct reports and ensuring objectives are met.
- Supporting the introduction of new manufacturing processes and ensuring best practice is shared in the group.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Strong engineering or manufacturing background with multiple process lines.
- Experience of people management including performance management, training, and development.
- Green Belt 6 Sigma certification.
- Process improvement knowledge.
