Summary of vacancy
Production Shift Supervisor
As a Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily running of the treatment facility operations, ensuring full compliance on the site and for the efficient deployment of staff and resources, to achieve a very high quality recycling and fuel product.

- Salary: £32,195.60
- Benefits: 3% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 20 days of annual leave + bank holidays, 3% employer pension, access to WeCare, and retailer discounts.
- Hours: Fulltime 8.00 - 16.30pm 30 min lunch - 40 hours per week
- Location: Altens East Recycling Facility, Hareness Place, Altens East Industrial Estate, Aberdeen, AB12 3GX
About The Role
What will I be doing?
- Working closely with the other members of the team to provide the best service to our clients and customers.
- Supervision of personnel and the fixed plant.
- Monitoring feedstock quality and continually striving to implement process improvements.
- Collating working hours of the facility staff for payroll on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining budgetary control over operations and order equipment and resource for the site.

You will also be responsible for ensuring activities of all employees comply with SUEZ’s policies & procedures and relevant Health & Safety legislation.
What are the requirements?
- You'll have a passion for recycling, coupled with experience of supervising and developing engaged teams, to meet high operational standards. This, along with:
- Strong communication skills
- IOSH or a similar Health and Safety Qualification, or the ability to achieve this within 12 months
- A broad knowledge of plant equipment is desirable, but not essential, as training can and will be provided.
