Job Description
Food Production Supervisor
Salary: £36,089 per year plus excellent company benefits
Shift details: working Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm until 1am with an element of flexibility required during peak season
40 Hours per week
Bicester, Oxfordshire
If you are as ambitious as we are and you’re looking for an opportunity to progress your career within Food Manufacturing, join us as the Production Supervisor providing leadership support for our Production colleagues based at Fresh Kitchen (Sysco) site in Bicester.
This Production Supervisor role is a hands-on Production Operative role where you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks from an operational and compliance perspective. You will have high standards and expected to lead by example. Sharing knowledge of previous experience of food production to confidently be an example of relevant food safety legislation, HACCP and BRC principles at all times. This is a varied opportunity, where you will support in achieving exemplary service but also in actively setting a positive, upbeat, safe environment for our colleagues.
This role will be customer facing, both internally and externally, the successful individual will be expected to be pro-active and have the ability to resolve day to day queries escalating to the technical manager and production manager when required. This position will give you an opportunity to support the leadership team with product trials, organoleptic and microbiological testing and actively involved in the development of new product lines.

To join us in this role you will be strongly self-motivated with an eye for detail and good observation skills. The key to success is to be accurate and concise maintaining a solutions driven mindset using product knowledge for ensuring that compliance with the specification is achieved to the necessary specifications against the daily/weekly production plan for customer, legislative & food safety requirements. You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to IT literacy to provide regular production data and performance reports to assist in business management and product costings.
