What Is Involved

  • Manage with the PL to organize the teams for the different production areas to guarantee the production planning on-time.
  • Make sure that the work safety rules are regularly observed.
  • Identify training and job rotation opportunities, providing training and work instructions.
  • Participate and promote continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage absenteeism operating with the other PL to ensure continuity of production.
  • Ensures the condition of manufacturing equipment. Support the management of repairs equipment and tools that present non-conformities.
  • Communicate purchasing needs to the warehouse/supply department.
  • Ensures that all finished products, before entering the warehouse, have undergone final control actions and/or audits, and that the result of these actions was acceptance.
  • When requested, supports the evaluation and decision regarding the fate of non-conformities.

Required Experience

  • 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years’ supervisory and line management experience, gained within a safety critical environment, including leading teams, developing people, managing performance, and using structured review and feedback processes.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing time critical and priority driven workloads, demonstrating strong organizational capability, resilience, and effective decision making under pressure.

Skills

  • Strong Excel Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong skills in Excel for data analysis, KPI tracking, inventory reporting, and problem solving, with solid ability in Word and Outlook.
  • Clear and professional communication. Able to convey information effectively to teams and leadership.
  • Critical and creative thinking. Uses analytical and innovative approaches to improve processes and solve operational challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Builds positive working relationships and collaborates effectively across functions.
  • Effective problem solving. Applies structured, data-driven thinking to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
