Role Description
The Production Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Market Weighton. This role oversees day-to-day production operations, ensuring output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The Production Supervisor coordinates production schedules, allocates resources, and monitors workflow to meet customer and internal targets. Responsibilities include:

- Leading and coaching production team members
- Conducting regular performance and safety checks
- Resolving issues that may affect productivity or product quality
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Experience in production planning and working with production schedules to meet output and delivery targets
- Production management capabilities, including resource allocation, process monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and providing clear direction on the production floor
- Relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production, with knowledge of health and safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP), is beneficial
- A diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment are desirable
