Pay: £14.36 per hour
Are you an experienced production professional with strong leadership and people-management skills? We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join a busy food packaging manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for organising and motivating production staff, ensuring production targets are achieved and maintaining high standards across food safety, quality, health and safety and environmental procedures.

As Production Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the production team, ensuring food packaging products are manufactured efficiently and in line with company procedures and production briefs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Organising and motivating production staff to achieve production targets
- Supervising the manufacture of food packaging products
- Ensuring team members comply with food safety, quality, environmental and health & safety standards
- Completing production checks and maintaining accurate records, including paperwork, timesheets and software
- Working closely with engineering, stock control and warehouse teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve production lines and processes
- Training and supporting production staff
- Ensuring production procedures and briefs are followed correctly
- Carrying out other appropriate duties as required

Key Skills And Qualities
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong people-management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to motivate and manage a production team
- Good understanding of workplace procedures and standards
- Ability to work effectively with other departments
