Production Supervisor
Full Time
Salary Negotiable + bonus
Location: Greater Manchester
Certain Advantage is partnering with a well-established Aerospace engineering business to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of operators and apprentices, including work allocation, enablement within a metal manufacturing environment.
Relevant Experience Required
- Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
- Production supervisor within a metallic sheet metal or machining manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising a team of operators and apprentices – including work allocation, enablement
- Working closely with the production schedulers to plan capacity and ensure that the required operations are completed on time
- Ensure that lean manufacturing operational practices are in place and that 8 waste are eliminated
- Actively resolve operational issues and ensure high levels of quality are achieved

- Proactiveness, timely problem solving, effective decision making, pragmatic and solution-based forward thinking
- Must be highly professional when interacting internally and externally; verbally + email communication and be able to manage time and tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Requirements
- Due to the nature of the work, you must have the ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC) - must meet standard UK nationality/residency eligibility requirements for site access.
