Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

£34,000 - £38,000 + Overtime + Health Insurance + Company Benefits + Training + Flexitime

Are you a Production Supervisor or similar from a factory or manufacturing background, looking for a senior role in a market leading company, where you will be integral to the production department for this long-standing and well-established manufacturer?

Do you want a people management focused role, directly responsible for the success of 5 direct reports and ensuring that a wider team of 30 staff are on track?

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day shop floor operations across the wood mill, upholstery, dispatch, sewing and pre-build departments. You will be responsible for approximately 30 production staff, including five direct reports, ensuring the production plan is delivered efficiently while resolving staffing, scheduling and operational issues as they arise.

This company has been going for over 15 years and have seen a big boost in growth in the past few, they have recently opened new showrooms and are expanding their production efforts to meet customer demand. As a company they are manufacturing and selling bespoke furniture for mainly domestic purposes.

This role would suit a Production Supervisor from a manufacturing/factory background who is looking for a role where you will play a key part in the expansion of a business in a role where you will be the driving force behind the production operations of a successful business.

The Role:

  • Overseeing shop floor operations in a busy workshop environment
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues
  • Managing a team of 30 staff
  • Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm. Overtime available
