Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the form of Production Supervisor for our Repack department here at Gousto. Based at our Warrington site, you will report directly to the Production Manager, working a Monday to Friday day shift. You’ll lead a team to deliver the perfect Gousto box to every customer, on time, every time.

In this role, you will provide hands-on operational management of a newly created small repack and packing facility. You will ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and technical specifications. By working closely with Technical, Engineering, and Planning teams, you will help deliver the daily and weekly production plans while maintaining the highest standards of safety, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), food safety, and product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Embed a safety-first culture across the facility, guide safety awareness, uphold health and safety policies, and ensure timely incident reporting and action close-outs
  • Foster food safety and quality culture across the operation, ensuring full adherence to GMP, hygiene, and technical standards alongside routine operational checks
  • Ensure repack operations consistently meet quality, legality, and customer standards by conducting thorough investigations into non-conformances and applying effective corrective actions
  • Uphold safe machinery practices and ensure operational colleagues are fully trained, competent, and signed off on flow wrapping, packing, and production machinery
  • Deploy and manage operational colleagues and Tech Ops, ensuring shifts are effectively resourced and hours are managed within agreed labour budgets
  • Manage team performance, conduct, and attendance through 1-1s, Personal Development Plan (PDP) coaching, feedback, and formal investigations when required
  • Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate safety, quality, and performance priorities, foster a welcoming environment, and assist with recruitment interviewing
  • Take day-to-day operational accountability for repack production, managing labour to achieve output, plan adherence, service, efficiency, and minimal waste
  • Oversee the effective operation of multi-head weighers and flow wrappers, working closely with Engineering and Technical teams to resolve defects and reduce downtime
  • Maintain full material control and product traceability to prevent mix-ups, deliver clear shift handovers, and deputise for the Production Manager when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
