Production Supervisor

Join Our Team

1TRY Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised Production Supervisor to lead our small batch production operation at our Sheriff Hutton facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, flexibility, and teamwork are key.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a small production team, coordinate workflows, and help drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the production team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Plan, organise, and monitor small batch production schedules.
  • Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop production staff.
  • Work closely with planning, purchasing, and management to ensure materials and resources are available.
  • Resolve production issues quickly to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
  • Experience managing or coordinating small batch production is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to motivate others.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Confidence using production systems and Microsoft Office applications.
