Production Supervisors

Production Supervisors sought to join an award-winning, GBP multimillion turnover food manufacturing company based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad.

They are permanent, full-time positions with both AM (Monday to Friday 5.15/5.30am - 2.15/2.30pm) and PM (Tuesday to Friday: 2pm - 10.30pm, Saturday: 9am - 5.30pm) shifts available.

There are positions available from Level 1 to Level 4 depending on candidate skills and experience, with hourly rates reflecting these levels.

Your Duties As Production Supervisor

  • Manage an assigned production area, overseeing daily production schedules
  • Drive day-to-day operational performance to meet productivity and efficiency targets
  • Support, develop and look after your team, promoting wellbeing, fairness and respect at all times
  • Create a positive working environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely data within the computerised production system
  • Lead and support a team of Line Operatives and Machine Minders
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English
  • Demonstrate and role-model our Company Values in all aspects of your work

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Leader etc
  • Food manufacturing industry experience
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • A genuine commitment to team wellbeing and engagement
  • The ability to work calmly and decisively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement

Pay And Benefits

  • GBP 13.44 - GBP 15.47 (Level 1 - Level 4) per hour hourly rate
  • GBP 14.19 - GBP 16.22 (Level 1 - Level 4) per hour evening rate (6pm onwards)
  • GBP 15.60 - GBP 17.95 (Level 1 - Level 4) per hour Saturday rate
  • GBP 16.80 - GBP 19.34 (Level 1 - Level 4) overtime rate
  • 39.5 hours per week
  • AM shift: Monday - Friday: 5.15/5.30am-2.15/2.30pm
  • PM shift: Tuesday - Friday: 2pm-10.30pm and Saturday: 9am-5.30pm
