Production & Supply Chain Planner

Mallows Bottling is looking for an experienced Production & Supply Chain Planner to take ownership of production scheduling, demand planning, and the day-to-day supply chain actions required to keep our manufacturing operation running effectively.

Based at our manufacturing facility in South Wales, we operate multiple production lines across alcohol and soft drinks, working with a wide range of brands, products, packaging formats, and suppliers.

This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can take customer demand and forecasts, turn these into an achievable production plan, identify the materials required to deliver it, and then take the necessary actions to make sure everything is in place.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining the production schedule across multiple production lines
  • Translating customer orders and forecasts into production and material requirements
  • Managing short, medium, and longer-term demand planning
  • Ensuring bottles, closures, labels, cartons, ingredients, and other materials are available when required
  • Raising and managing purchasing requirements and working with suppliers to secure deliveries
  • Identifying material shortages, capacity constraints, and supply risks before they impact production
  • Taking corrective action where materials, demand, or production plans change
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels while avoiding unnecessary inventory
  • Reviewing slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock and driving actions to reduce it
  • Working closely with Production, Customer Service, Procurement, NPD, and Finance
  • Providing clear visibility of the production plan, material availability, and key risks to the wider business
  • Continuously improving planning processes, systems, and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
