Equities Production Support Analyst
Insight Global are seeking an Equities Production Support Analyst for a leading global financial services client.
Location
4 days onsite per week in London, England
Contract
6-month initial contract with extension potential and is Inside IR35.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a high-performing EMEA Equities Production Support team responsible for supporting low-latency electronic trading platforms across the equities business. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with traders, operations teams, developers, and infrastructure partners to ensure platform stability, performance, and resiliency. You will take ownership of production incidents, lead live issue resolution, drive root cause analysis, and contribute to automation and continuous service improvement initiatives within a fast-paced trading environment.

Must-Have Requirements
- Experience in Production Support or Application Support within electronic trading, financial markets, or another business-critical environment
- Strong UNIX/Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
- Python and/or Shell scripting skills for automation and operational improvements
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Cribl, Netcool, or other NMS platforms
- Strong incident management and live production support experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with traders and senior business stakeholders
- Understanding of problem management, change management, and operational support processes
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex production issues and manage them through to resolution

Plusses
- Equities, electronic trading, or broader capital markets experience
- Knowledge of FIX protocol
- Networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience
- Experience supporting OMS platforms such as Fidessa, ULLINK, or TTNET
- Familiarity with EMEA exchange connectivity and market data platforms including Bloomberg, Reuters, and Exegy
- Experience driving platform stability, resiliency, and service improvement initiatives
