Production Support Engineer

As a Production Support Engineer you will help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Much of support and development will focus on existing systems, building infrastructure and reducing work through automation. You’ll join a team of curious problem solvers with a diverse set of perspectives who are thinking big and taking risks. In this environment you’ll work on relevant projects, supported by an organization that provides the support and mentorship you need to learn and grow. As an engineer, you’ll be focused on running better production applications and systems.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As a Production Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Onboarding applications onto Production management with the highest onboarding standards
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
  • Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
  • Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns.
  • Participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization and capacity demands.
  • Engage with the development team throughout the lifecycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
  • Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
