Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm

The Production Support Operative Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Support Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role is all about supporting our machine operators and helping keep production running smoothly. You'll be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining a clean and organised work area and proactively ensuring the machine is never waiting for materials, tooling or consumables by preparing everything required for the next production run in advance.

No previous experience in the corrugated packaging industry is required – if you have a good work ethic, a positive attitude and are willing to learn, we'll provide the training you need.
Key Duties
- Preparing raw material pallets ready for production.
- Removing pallet wrap, strapping and packaging.
- Keeping the machine area clean, tidy and organised.
- Emptying waste bins and removing scrap material.
- Fitting layer pads onto finished goods pallets before they enter the robotic palletiser.
- Checking the production schedule and ensuring all materials are ready for the next job.
- Helping operators during job changeovers if required.
- Restocking consumables and reporting any shortages.
- Working safely and following all company procedures.
- Supporting other production areas when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Happy to work as part of a team.
- Able to carry out manual handling duties.
- Experience operating powered pedestrian stacker trucks is desirable.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment would be an advantage; however, we welcome applicants with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, as full training will be provided.
