About The Role
Production Support Operators are required for a temporary contract in Gateshead, working with Manpower UK at AkzoNobel's Felling site. The position pays £13.36 to £15.98 hourly, plus shift allowance, across a 38-hour standard week. Rotating patterns cover days and nights: Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, Friday 6am-12pm or 2pm-6pm; nights run Sunday midnight-6am and Monday to Friday 10pm-6am. Duties include operating machinery, monitoring output, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous production. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is advantageous. Training and progression are offered within this global coatings organisation.

Shifts: Days/nights
- Days: Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
- Friday: 6am-12pm or 2pm-6pm
- Nights: Sunday: 12 midnight-6am
- Monday-Friday: 10pm-6am (Friday finish)
Pay: Paid hourly at 38 hours per standard working week + shift Allowance
- Starting Salary 6 months 12 Months: £26,928.82 £29,577.88 £31,570.63
- Constant Night: £10,611.69
- Alternating Double Day: £5,310.00
About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our highly flexible and skilled team at an international manufacturing plant in Felling. As a Production Support Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing team has all the materials needed to achieve production performance targets. You'll follow standard operating procedures and use continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality.

Key Responsibilities
