Job Title: Production Team Lead

You’ll lead a production team and shape how it performs day to day in a safety focused, continuously improving operation. What You'll Do
- Planning daily people resources to optimise production schedules and ensuring the implementation of the production plan to meet business demands
- Monitoring and analysing operating conditions, practical operation of equipment, and total preventative maintenance (TPM) within your team
- Conducting daily factory walks to monitor health, safety, housekeeping, and team focus on TPM across all workspaces
- Ensuring all employees work in line with EHS guidelines and policies, reporting incidents/accidents/near misses, and completing safety KPIs and toolbox talks on schedule
- Completing accurate shift reports and KPIs, documenting downtime, reporting unplanned stoppages, and communicating performance to stakeholders
- Utilising root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities, supporting implementation of OPEX principles, and carrying out corrective actions
- Supporting team members' skill development through on-the-job learning, providing ongoing feedback, and managing comprehensive training matrices
- Monitoring team performance and attendance, managing absence-related queries, conducting initial investigations into grievances, and ensuring adherence to policies
- Planning and overseeing down days, shutdowns, stock takes, and cleaning activities to minimise disruptions and ensuring team preparedness

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Team Lead position within a production environment, ideally from a paint or sealant industry
- Understanding of Operations and LEAN principles
- Experience using structured problem-solving methods such as root cause analysis to identify production issues and implement effective corrective actions
- IOSH Managing safely certificate
- Experience supporting operational change and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment
