Production Team Leader

Uxbridge | £50,000 – £52,000 | No shifts | Friday lunchtime finish

Love engineering, but get more satisfaction from developing people than being on the tools yourself? This could be a great next move.

We are recruiting for a British aerospace and defence engineering business looking for a people-focused Production Team Leader to lead a team of 20+ highly skilled technicians.

And what they build is pretty impressive. Some of the mechanical mechanisms contain up to 300 individual parts and take six days to complete, with inspection and testing at multiple stages along the way.

But you won't be building them. Your job is to lead the talented people who do.

This is a genuine people management role. You'll manage performance, development, appraisals, training and absence, celebrate the successes and, when needed, be comfortable having the more difficult conversations too.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
