About Us

At Radnor Hills, we’ve been crafting award-winning soft drinks for over 35 years using pure spring water sourced just metres from our site. From bottled and canned drinks to TetraPak products, we proudly supply schools, shops, and supermarkets across the UK.

The Role

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Production Team Leader to support the Production Shift Manager in the efficient running of the Production facility and ensuring the manufacturing of high-quality Radnor products and daily and weekly targets are achieved. The Production Team Leader ensures that operations are conducted in a safe and sustainable manner, meeting customer demand while adhering to Company standards for quality, efficiency, and profitability of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Enforcing safe work practices.
  • Reporting accidents and conducting thorough investigations.
  • Positively promoting a culture ensuring good safe working practices in all areas.
  • Adhering to HACCP Protocols.
  • Taking part in weekly GMP audits.
  • Reviewing all ongoing quality checks and production records throughout each shift for compliance.
  • Reviewing all NC’s / product on hold to establish root cause and resolve.
  • Working alongside the QA Manager daily, to develop a quality focused culture engaging the Production Operators on ownership and accountability.
  • Instructing and training operators on all aspects of GMP & policy changes.
  • Actively review non-compliance issues & correcting through communication, instruction, and training.
  • Lead by example, encourage open communication across the team, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Day-to-day responsibility of production facilities to ensure production plans are achieved, communicating shortages or quality concerns promptly and escalating any issues.
  • Working closely with the Engineering Team Leaders to agree priorities and to drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Developing and identifying updates to manufacturing procedures.
  • Deputising for the Production Shift Manager in their absence.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous production/manufacturing experience.
  • Understanding of QC systems.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated coaching skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organised and assertive.
  • Food industry knowledge - FMCG
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • NVQ 2 in Supervision
  • HACCP Level 2
  • HACCP Level 2

Rate of Pay: £17.06

Optional overtime is paid at 1.5 x your hourly rate.

Location: Heartsease, Knighton

Hours: 12-hour shifts, working a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern rotating between 06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00 every 2 blocks.
