Responsible for leading and supervising a team of Workshop Technicians within a bespoke manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and manage workshop technicians day to day.
- Plan workloads, delegate tasks and monitor project schedules and completion targets.
- Maintain high standards of quality, HSE and workmanship.
- Monitor performance, identify training needs and support staff development.
- Resolve operational issues and work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments.
- Support LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction and lead-time improvements.
- Manage customer requirements and internal/external suppliers.

Ideal experience:
- Previous team leadership/supervisory experience within manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience with bespoke/complex manufacturing, workflow planning and scheduling.
- Strong understanding of HSE, quality standards and LEAN manufacturing.
- Good communication, problem-solving, organisation and people-management skills
