As a leading supplier of chilled potato products, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Team Leader to oversee our day operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our chilled production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the chilled production line
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operatives to achieve production targets while maintaining a focus on quality and safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee product excellence
- Collaborate with management to analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate training and development for team members, enhancing skills and performance
- Act as a key communicator between the production team and management

Hours of Work
39 hours per week, typically operating between 06:00 - 14:30 or similar day shift hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a chilled production or food manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on team motivation and development
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges
- Effective communication skills, ensuring clarity and collaboration within the team and with management
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and commitment to achieving high standards of production
