Production Team Leader – Shift Based - FMCG!

Coupar Angus, Scotland
£40,000 + Benefits + Progression and Development
Shift Pattern: Sunday – Thursday (Sunday: 12pm–9pm | Monday–Thursday: 3:00pm–12:00am)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee a busy production area within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves leading multiple production lines, including processing and packaging operations, while ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

You will manage a team of Key Operatives and oversee a larger operational workforce, driving performance and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams across multiple production lines
  • Drive performance, productivity, and quality standards
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
  • Promote a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
  • Work closely with colleagues and senior leadership to achieve operational targets
  • Monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives

About You

This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious leader with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Food production experience is advantageous, but applications are welcomed from other high-volume operational sectors with strong leadership experience.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing teams within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong understanding of operational efficiency, quality control, and health & safety standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt within a dynamic production setting
  • A proactive and hands-on management style
