Production Team Member

Initial 12-month FTC

Location: Ashby de la Zouch (home of Hula Hoops, Space Raiders and Popchips)

Shift: 3-shift rotation (Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00)

About the role

As a Production Team Member, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our high-quality products are produced efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for the competent operation of a variety of machinery, including packing lines, poppers, and flavour units, while also carrying out routine product testing and quality checks to maintain consistency.

What will you be doing?

  • Operate production machinery confidently and safely, including packing lines, poppers, and flavour units, to keep production running smoothly.
  • Embrace the challenge of maintaining high product quality, carrying out testing and checks to ensure every item meets our exacting standards.
  • Work closely with your shift team and other departments, supporting a collaborative and efficient production environment.
  • Play a vital role in delivering the products our customers love, contributing directly to our performance and reputation.
  • Gain hands-on experience and develop new skills, with full training provided and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy will help you follow processes accurately and complete essential documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently will support the team in meeting daily production targets.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a great foundation, but we also welcome skills from similar hands-on roles.
  • A Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable but not essential—we provide full training to help you succeed and grow in the role.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to working well with others will ensure you thrive and live our KP values every day.
