About The Role
P2 Production Team Operative (FLT)
- Salary - £31,833.65 inclusive of shift allowance
- Hours - 42 hours - Shift pattern of 3 on 3 off days and nights
- Type - Permanent
As a Production Team Operative you will be part of a supportive team, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around, and show you the ropes.
Your main tasks and duties will be:
- Performing all duties within the Production department within the Factory to ensure the effective running of process/production lines and associated systems/equipment and being audit ready at all times.
- Operating equipment/machinery and supporting the operation of equipment/machinery undertaking fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
- Complete quality checks and record results, reporting any non-conformances.
- Work as part of a team to ensure site achieves targets and customer service.
- Contribute to meeting team and company-wide production targets, which make a real difference to our business and our customers.
- Operation of counterbalance Double handler FLT.

About You
For the role of a Production Team Operative we are looking for:
- Competency in Health & Safety Procedures.
- Competent at completing area/machine/equipment safety checks, immediately reporting any non-conformances, accidents, near misses or food safety concerns to supervisors and suggest corrective actions.
- Competent at completing quality checks and documentation.
- Compliant with GMP and good housekeeping.
- Completes effective handover with oncoming team member to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during working hours.
Please note that it is essential that you hold a valid and accredited Counterbalance licence for this position.
You will be part of a supportive team, led by Production Shift Manager, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
