Role Overview
We are currently looking for multiple Production Technicians and Operators to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced production professionals to become part of a dynamic team supporting the manufacturing of vital medicines. The role offers the chance to work within a regulated environment, contributing to processes that make a real difference in patients’ lives, all on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift pattern.
As a Production Technician or Operator, you will be integral to ensuring the seamless operation of production lines across various teams, including incoming materials, equipment preparation, sterile operations, quality control, and packaging. This role provides a fantastic platform to develop technical skills and contribute to continuous process improvements within a fast-paced, GMP-compliant setting.

- To support the technical set-up and operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring all tasks are performed in line with GMP and health & safety standards.
- To accurately complete relevant documentation related to production activities, including validation, calibration, and maintenance records.
- To assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and environmental standards.
- To actively participate in process improvements, help review SOPs and related documentation under guidance from the Team Leader.
- As the Production Technician, you will help coordinate activities within your section and liaise effectively with other teams to support smooth operations.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Production Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
- Proven experience working in a process-driven or highly regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, chemicals, food, FMCG, or beverages.
- Experience in setting up and operating automated and semi-automated equipment following approved procedures.
