Production Technician | Wembley | Up to £35,000
Our client is a specialist technology and scientific instrumentation company developing innovative equipment used by organisations across a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, petrochemicals and advanced materials.
The Role
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting specialist scientific instruments, ensuring products are built accurately and consistently to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the production and engineering teams, you will follow detailed procedures, use a range of hand tools and equipment, and carry out functional testing and fault finding on completed products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble specialist scientific instruments and components in line with detailed work instructions and specifications.
- Use hand tools, machinery, and specialist equipment safely and accurately.
- Carry out functional testing and quality inspections on completed assemblies.
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot faults or defects during the production and testing process.
- Accurately record test results, inspection information, and relevant production data.
- Report any Bill of Materials (BOM) discrepancies or issues to the Production Team Lead.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A-levels or an equivalent qualification in an engineering, manufacturing, or scientific subject.
- Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or technical environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good practical and manual skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately to defined procedures.
- A basic understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
