ASSA ABLOY Door Group is a global leader in entrance solutions, dedicated to providing innovative, safe, and sustainable products for customers worldwide. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team in Lisburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and responsibility for manufacturing and assembling door components to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding of steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components to required tolerances.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and product compliance.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, team leaders, and other departments to meet production targets.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a welding or fabrication role.
- Proven MIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible, positive approach to work.
Desirable
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
- Experience within the door, construction, or metal fabrication industry.
