Production Welder / Hand Polisher
Leamington Spa
Temporary ongoing assignment
Rotating weekly and fortnightly shifts, and flexible with days and overtime if required
Pay rates: Early and Late shifts: £16.86 per hour / Days: £15.13 per hour
We are seeking a Production Welder / Hand Polisher to join a leading international manufacturing company in Leamington Spa. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Welder / Hand Polisher to secure a long-term ongoing role.
Production Welder / Hand Polisher
- Carry out precision TIG welding on stainless steel components to exact specifications.
- Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing of welded parts to achieve the required surface quality.
- Ensure all welded joints are visually and dimensionally accurate, free from defects.
- Work from technical drawings to produce components that meet customer and company requirements.
- Check and measure finished components at required inspection frequencies.
- Identify, label, and record both approved and rejected parts in line with ISO9001 Quality Standards.
- Maintain consistency in weld quality, finish, and polish across all components produced.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area, including polishing stations and equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company health and safety requirements.

The Ideal Production Welder / Hand Polisher
- Previous experience working as a Production Welder / Hand Polisher
- Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel components.
- Skilled in hand polishing, grinding, and finishing stainless steel to a high cosmetic standard.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing a flawless finish.
- Knowledge of quality processes and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.

Shifts
Rotating Weekly and Fortnightly shifts
- 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday
- 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20-minute break)
- Days: 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 (20-minute break)
Shifts
39 hrs per week + possible overtime
Pay rates
- Early and Late shifts: £16.86 per hour
- Days: £15.13 per hour
