In Scope

GI Group are looking for an experienced Productivity & Collaboration Specialist to support the provisioning, administration, and 3rd line support of tools within the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite, as well as supporting project and programme work transitioning into BAU.

The team are the platform product owners for the collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365 Groups, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Planner, Stream, Viva Engage, and the Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, design, and configure new collaboration solutions, selecting the right M365 products to meet user needs, in line with governance processes.
  • Provide 3rd line support: log, prioritise, and manage escalations from the service desk, service delivery teams, and users.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues through global configuration changes, workarounds/enhancements, procedural changes, user guidance/documentation, or escalation to internal teams/external suppliers.
  • Ensure all work is completed and documented to required standards, methods, and procedures, with documentation accessible to relevant users.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by monitoring progress, keeping stakeholders informed, and managing expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and stay up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap and new features.
  • Line manage analysts where required.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, M365 Groups, etc.).
  • Proven 3rd line support experience in an enterprise environment (incident/request management and problem resolution).
  • Experience designing/configuring collaboration solutions with appropriate governance and controls.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
