TPP Recruitment is supporting a leading professional membership organisation to recruit a Professional Education & Learning Design Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established continuing professional development (CPD) programme, shaping learning experiences for experienced legal professionals while working with respected subject matter experts and senior stakeholders

Salary: £49,000 per annum

Employment type: Permanent

Working arrangements: Hybrid – c. 2 days per week office based (London) + attendance for events

Working pattern: Full-time, 35 hours per week

About the Role

As Professional Education & Learning Design Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of professional learning activities, including conferences, workshops, webinars, seminars and blended learning programmes. You will oversee the design, development and delivery of an established annual CPD programme while ensuring content remains relevant, engaging and commercially viable.

Working closely with expert practitioners, colleagues and stakeholders, you will combine learning design expertise with strong project and programme management skills to create exceptional learner experiences across both online and face-to-face formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop CPD courses, webinars, workshops, conferences and blended learning programmes
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to identify training priorities
  • Create learning objectives, course materials and supporting resources
  • Manage the annual programme schedule and delivery plan
  • Coordinate speakers, venues, registration processes and communications
  • Project manage programme marketing and learner engagement activities
  • Manage and develop virtual learning experiences using webinar and learning management platforms
  • Support presenters and learners before and during events
  • Monitor programme budgets and supplier expenditure
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness through learner feedback and data analysis
  • Produce reports on participation, satisfaction and learning impact
  • Continuously improve learning content, delivery methods and learner experience

Skills / Experience Required

  • Experience designing and managing professional education, training or CPD programmes
  • Experience delivering both virtual and face-to-face learning events
  • Strong programme, project and event management skills
  • Experience creating online and blended learning solutions
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience using learning technologies, webinar platforms and learning management systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A creative and learner-focused approach to programme design
