About The Role
This is a rewarding workforce development role for an experienced children's social worker who is passionate about supporting others to learn, grow and succeed.
As a Professional Educator, you will play a significant role in shaping the development of our workforce by:
- Training, coaching, and supporting social workers and leaders across Children's Social Care.
- Providing supervision and support to Early Career Practitioners and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) throughout their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
- Leading and developing our Early Career Framework to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
- Supporting student social workers and promoting excellent practice placements.
- Identifying learning needs and practice development opportunities through quality assurance activity and feedback from practitioners.
- Translating research, legislation, and guidance into meaningful learning that strengthens practice.
- Working alongside leaders and practitioners to drive continuous improvement and embed best practice across the service.
- Designing and delivering engaging learning opportunities, workshops, and reflective spaces that encourage curiosity, confidence, and professional growth.
