Professional Indemnity Senior Associate Solicitor - Manchester City Centre - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits
A Tier 2 Legal 500-ranked insurance litigation practice is seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Associate Solicitor to join its Manchester office as part of its continued growth. Recognised for its expertise across complex professional negligence and insurance disputes, the firm acts on behalf of a wide-ranging client base including SMEs, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and professional associations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to join a highly regarded team handling high-quality defendant professional indemnity work, with access to strong client relationships, excellent mentoring, and clear opportunities for long-term career progression. The firm offers an attractive package including a 12% pension, up to 20% bonus, and flexible/hybrid working.
The Role:
- Manage a varied caseload of defendant Professional Indemnity claims on behalf of insurers and insured professionals
- Advise on complex professional negligence matters across a broad range of sectors and professions
- Handle claims from inception through to resolution, including litigation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Work closely with clients to provide commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, insurers, and business partners
- Support the continued growth and development of the Professional Indemnity practice
- Contribute to business development initiatives and wider team objectives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the insurance and disputes teams on complex and high-value matters

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
- Demonstrates strong technical expertise in Professional Indemnity and professional negligence matters
- Has experience gained within a recognised insurance litigation or disputes practice
- Delivers commercially focused, high-quality legal advice supported by strong analytical and case management skills
- Builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Possesses excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Shows a genuine interest in developing their career within a leading insurance litigation practice
- Thrives in a collaborative and high-performing team environment
