An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Professional Indemnity Partner to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm.

The firm is looking to strengthen its professional indemnity offering with the appointment of a Partner who has a strong and demonstrable client following and a proven track record in developing and growing a practice.

This is an opportunity for an established Professional Indemnity Partner looking for a platform that can support further growth, with the backing and resources of an international firm.

The Role

You will join an established and highly regarded disputes practice, handling a broad range of professional indemnity and professional negligence matters.

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Lead and develop a Professional Indemnity practice in Birmingham
  • Act on complex and high-value professional negligence disputes
  • Develop existing client relationships and generate new business
  • Work with a broad range of professional clients and insurers
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's wider national and international network
  • Play a key role in the continued growth and strategic development of the team

The Candidate

The Firm Is Seeking a Professional Indemnity Partner With

  • A strong technical background in professional indemnity / professional negligence
  • Significant experience advising insurers and/or professional clients
  • A strong reputation within the market
  • An established and transferable client following
  • A proven track record in business development
  • Excellent client relationship and networking skills
  • The ambition to grow and develop a team and practice

The firm is particularly interested in lawyers with experience acting for insurers, professional firms and other professional clients, across a range of complex claims.
