Professional Partnerships & Origination Manager

UK – Flexible/Hybrid Working
£70,000 - £100,000 + bonus + benefits (could be flex, depending on experience)
Based in Manchester, Birmingham or London

We are working with a growing, specialist professional-services firm to appoint a Professional Partnerships & Origination Manager.

A background in Consulting or Consultancy management would be beneficial

This is a commercially focused role responsible for developing a network of professional introducers and converting trusted relationships into high-quality new client opportunities. You will manage and grow partnerships across accountancy firms, law firms, corporate finance advisers, and private equity, building senior relationships and creating sustainable referral pipelines.

The role

  • Build and manage a portfolio of professional introducer relationships.
  • Develop trusted relationships at Partner and Director level.
  • Identify and originate new client opportunities through the partner network.
  • Create structured partnership plans focused on sustainable revenue growth.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and technical teams to convert introductions into successful engagements.
  • Collaborate with marketing on events, campaigns, and thought-leadership activity.
  • Represent the business across the wider professional advisory community.
  • Monitor partnership activity, pipeline, and conversion.

The person

We are looking for someone with experience in partnerships, business development, or origination within a professional-services environment.

You will be commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable developing relationships with senior stakeholders. Experience within or alongside tax, accountancy, legal, corporate finance, or another advisory environment would be particularly relevant.

You do not need to be a technical tax specialist, but you will need a good understanding of professional advisory services and the confidence to operate in complex client environments.
