Role Purpose

The Professional Services Associate III is responsible for delivering technical consultancy, implementation, support, and service improvement activities for Xerox solutions within customer environments. Working both independently and as part of a wider delivery team, the role provides expertise across solution deployment, troubleshooting, operational support, and customer engagement to ensure successful delivery of contracted services and business outcomes.

Within a Central UK Government account, the role operates in highly secure and controlled environments, supporting mission-critical print, document management, and digital workflow solutions. The position requires close collaboration with UK Govt stakeholders, Xerox delivery teams, service management, and third-party suppliers to ensure services are delivered in compliance with contractual, security, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional services engagements in accordance with customer requirements, project plans, and contractual obligations.
  • Install, configure, support, and optimise Xerox hardware, software, and managed service solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise for device deployments, fleet refreshes, software upgrades, and service transition activities.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Support project delivery activities including planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and customer acceptance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation records.
  • Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with service delivery, engineering, architecture, and support teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance service performance.
  • Ensure compliance with change management, security, governance, and quality processes.
  • Transfer knowledge and provide guidance to operational support teams and customer representatives.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives and identification of operational efficiencies.

Client Specific Responsibilities

  • Deliver services within secure UK Govt environments, adhering to all security, information assurance, and governance requirements.
  • Support classified and non-classified print and document management solutions across UK Central Govt.
  • Engage with civil servants, delivery and client partners in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Assist with the deployment and support of secure print infrastructure, authentication solutions, and document workflows.
  • Participate in service reviews, technical workshops, audits, and governance meetings.
  • Support secure transition, migration, and technology refresh programmes.
  • Ensure technical changes are implemented in accordance with Central Govt accreditation and change control processes.
  • Work within strict service level agreements and operational commitments to maintain service availability and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering customer-facing technical services, consultancy, implementation, or support activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise print and document management environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, print servers, networking, authentication, and device management solutions, including Azure hosting environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within structured service management and project delivery frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively within security-conscious and compliance-driven environments.

Security Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance (SC) or higher as required by the contract.
  • Adherence to Xerox and UK Government security policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of information security principles, data protection requirements, and secure working practices.
