Job Purpose
As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for a Professional Services Consultant. A proficiency in German would be preferable.
The Professional Services Consultant will serve as a product specialist delivering exceptional consulting services to our clients within their designated region (North America, EMEA). Reporting to the Professional Services Consulting Manager or Senior Manager, this role will be responsible for providing strategic consulting services, helping clients define requirements, and configuring and optimizing our software to achieve critical business goals. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, consultative skills, and strong client relationship management to drive positive customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Consultative Expertise
- Provide expert advice and solutions to clients on our products and features, as well as systems, software development, and business processes
- Stay updated with the latest within our products and features, as well as broader technology trends and advancement
- Apply technical knowledge to support clients in achieving their business objectives
- Identify and resolve complex business or technical issues in partnership with the Solutions Architect to ensure minimal disruption to the project
- Configure and customize our solutions to meet client-specific requirements
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with all relevant stakeholders
- Understand client needs and provide support to deliver tailored solutions
- Communicate effectively with clients, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Represent the company professionally and demonstrate the value of our solutions
- Drive client adoption and ensure successful implementation of our solutions
Project Support
- Contribute to the management of projects from inception to completion
- Ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget in partnership with the Delivery Manager and client stakeholders
- Be able to apply project management methodologies to track progress and manage deliverables
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success
- Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Prepare detailed reporting and presentations in partnership with the Delivery Manager for internal and client stakeholders
- Clearly document agreed-upon solutions in partnership with the Solutions Architect
- Capture all relevant information for recurring technical needs
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and best practice guidelines
- Contribute to the development of reusable assets and templates

Team Collaboration & Operational Adherence
- Adopt and help iterate on all processes, best practices, and operational elements to ensure consistency
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Mentor and guide associate consultants where appropriate
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members
- Support the Professional Services Consulting Manager in achieving team objectives
Qualifications
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in technical or business consulting or a related field
- History of successful client engagement and solution delivery
- Experience with enterprise software implementation and configuration or professional services
- Background in applying structured methodologies for service delivery
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of the solutions being implemented or leveraged (Subject Matter Expert)
- Strong understanding of other technical systems and integrations
- Familiarity with software development processes and practices
- Experience with configuration and customization of enterprise software
- Understanding of data models and business process workflows
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles
Consultative Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
- Creative and critical thinking abilities
Project Management Skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in scope management and handling changing requirements
- Ability to track progress and report on deliverables
Communication & Client Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong presentation and documentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Understanding of client business processes and requirements

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred, either degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field a plus

Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international) to support client engagements
Location
- Flexible with preference for major business hubs in North America (ET) or Europe (GMT/CET)
