Our Professional Services team partners with our Higher Education clients to ensure positive outcomes and mutual growth. We assist Higher Education clients in managing their Tribal products and services, helping them to fully leverage the solution's capabilities.

Our SITS:Vision product is a comprehensive Student Information System designed for higher education institutions. It helps manage various aspects of the student journey, from recruitment and admissions to student support, retention, and outcomes.

The role is remote with the need to travel as required.

The Role

The Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for delivering Tribal’s implementation and post-implementation consultancy services, with a particular focus on the Admissions functional area. The Admissions component enables universities to manage the end-to-end student admissions process, including application management, applicant assessment, offer generation, entry requirement tracking, and preparation for student enrolment.

The Professional Services Consultant works in partnership with universities to successfully implement and optimise Tribal's solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, the consultant provides specialist expertise in the Admissions functional area, guiding customers through implementation projects, business process reviews, system configuration, user training, and ongoing consultancy. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and deliver positive business outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering consultancy services across the full implementation lifecycle and post-implementation support.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the Admissions functional area.
  • Gathering and analysing customer requirements, designing solutions that meet business needs.
  • Configuring, demonstrating, testing, and supporting Admissions functionality.
  • Facilitating workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Producing high-quality project documentation and training materials.
  • Building strong customer relationships and providing trusted advisory support.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Tribal products, sector trends, and best practices.
  • Supporting business development, knowledge sharing, and mentoring activities.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Strong stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, requirements gathering, and business process review abilities.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation, including specifications, reports, and training materials. And to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and third-party partners.
  • Willingness to learn new products, technologies, and business processes.
  • Knowledge of higher education business processes, particularly Admissions.
  • Experience of student lifecycle management and associated business processes with Tribal SITS or another system.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience of working with a SaaS platform.
  • Experience working within implementation, consultancy, or professional services environments delivering remote and on-site consultancy services
  • Experience configuring and supporting enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing.
