This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating multiple key projects within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and program management skills to ensure that all programs deliver the company's goals and objectives. The role will work closely with all departments, including the UK Executive Leadership Team, to drive successful project outcomes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Program Oversight: Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple cross-functional programs, ensuring they deliver the company's strategic objectives and are completed on time and within budget. Act as the first point of client escalation on PS delivery. Ensure the integrity of the resource forecasting and project financial forecasting process across the PS Portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals, scope, and deliverables. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing project management team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success. Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in program management. Encourage innovation and process enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Own the Project Management and the Professional Services Delivery process.
  • Client Satisfaction: Focus on client satisfaction across the delivery portfolio

Qualifications

  • Experience: Significant experience in program management, including in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Skills: Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Attributes: Proficient in attention to detail, proactive in approach, and adaptable to changing environments. Capable of excelling in fast-paced settings while effectively managing multiple priorities at once.
