About the Role
Our client, a medium sized Chancery Lane law firm are looking for an experienced Disputes Solicitor who is ready for a change and interested in moving into a PSL role.
This role is integral to ensuring that our litigation lawyers are equipped with up-to-date legal knowledge, innovative tools, and best in class resources to deliver exceptional service to clients.
The PSL will provide technical legal support, drive legal training initiatives and contribute to thought leadership within the firm.
Duties
- Coordinating know-how meetings, establishing agendas, and liaising with teams internally
- Designing and delivering structured training programmes tailored to different qualification levels
- Identifying and collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts for specialised training
- Monitoring emerging litigation technology, evaluating benefits, and providing feedback to the central knowledge function and partners. Contributing to and assisting with the scoping and administration of pilots to test innovation within the Group
- Liaising with e-disclosure platform providers, as required.
- Collaborating with Business Development and Marketing to produce a high-quality knowledge-focused website and social media content
- Raising the external profile and knowledge of the firm through active participation in relevant events and forums
- Creating and maintaining precedents, templates, standard advice bank
- Assisting lawyers with preparation of materials for internal and external training/speaking events

Requirements
- Experience of developing and delivering client and/or in-house training
- Good knowledge of civil procedure, case management and dispute resolution strategies
- Clear understanding of how a law firm operates as a business.
- Excellent communication skills, highly developed organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent legal drafting skills.
- Experience of developing and delivering client and/or in-house training and disseminating information effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative approach.
- Is self-initiating and takes pro-active approach towards projects; seeks direction and advice as needed but is also prepared to take ownership and progress tasks independently
- Interested in the law, and the use of technology in effective knowledge sharing
- Understands and promotes connections between other practice/industry groups and departments

The firm are ideally looking for someone commercially minded with strong technical skills and at least 8 years + PQE in Disputes.
