Profile Sales Estimator
Eggleston Steel is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Profile Sales Estimator to join our team in Derby.
This is a varied role combining CAD design, customer quotations and order processing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and working with customers and colleagues.
What does the role entail?
- Using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce drawings and parts for manufacturing on our CNC machinery.
- Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for customers.
- Converting customer quotations into confirmed orders.
- Using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer requirements are understood and orders are processed accurately.
- Maintaining a strong focus on quality and attention to detail throughout the process.

What are we looking for?
- Experienced in, or has a good understanding of, CAD.
- Previous experience using Sigma Nest software is desired, but not essential.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks would be an advantage.
- A good team player who works well with colleagues and customers.
- A confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Committed to maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Highly motivated, organized, and keen to develop their skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
