Programme Director – Mobile Telecoms
£650 per day | Outside IR35 | 3-month rolling contract | Hybrid – 2 days per week in Berkshire
We’re looking for an experienced Programme Director with a strong mobile telecoms background to lead a high-profile programme within a complex, fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who can operate confidently at senior/executive level, challenge and push back on senior stakeholders when required, and ultimately get things done.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, business-critical programme.
- Drive multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies and outcomes are managed effectively.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing clear direction and constructive challenge.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly, removing barriers to delivery.
- Create accountability across teams and ensure actions translate into results.
- Provide clear, concise reporting and maintain momentum across the programme.

About You
You’ll ideally have:
- Significant Programme Director / Programme Lead experience within mobile telecoms or a closely related environment.
- A proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale programmes.
- Strong experience working with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- The confidence to challenge, influence and push back when necessary.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach — someone who gets into the detail when required rather than simply overseeing from a distance.
- Strong commercial, delivery and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of taking ownership and getting things done in challenging environments.

This is an initial 3-month contract, rolling thereafter, paying circa £650 per day Outside IR35. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week required on site in Berkshire.
