Role Description

The Program Director is a full-time hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role oversees complex change and IT transformation programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business objectives. The Program Director will lead cross-functional teams, mentor project managers and business analysts, and ensure governance, reporting, and quality standards are consistently applied. The role also involves contributing to opportunity assessments, supporting business development activities, and promoting best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong program and project leadership skills, including experience managing complex, multi-workstream business and IT change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration with senior client leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements definition, and process improvement within transformation or change programs.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and proven ability to support adoption, training, and communication activities.
  • Background in IT procurement, vendor management, and governance for technology-related projects is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as aerospace and defense, retail, manufacturing, pharma, or logistics is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Change Management) and experience working within ISO or cyber-accredited environments are an asset.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Milton Keynes, demonstrating self-management, accountability, and high professional integrity.
